Dr Stephen Makhure obtained his Bachelor of Nursing science from Medunsa, then went on to pursue a career in medicine where he obtained his medical degree from the Univeristy of Kwazulu-Natal and subsequently completed his fellowship in Neurosurgery at the College of Medicine of South Africa.
